Agenda
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. It addresses the export of personal data outside the EU.The GDPR aims primarily to give control to citizens and residents over their personal data. Its is also to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.[1] When the GDPR takes effect, it will replace the 1995 Data Protection Directive.
Thus in this talk, we will examine how this will – forever – change our lives, as developers.

Info about DevStaff
There’s a lot of us, devs, here in Crete. Yet, we hardly ever get together in large groups, or even know each other. Somewhat strange for our small community. We hope you’ll agree. This group is an attempt at bringing us all together for informal chats about what we’re all passionate about: technology and software. Join the meetup. Learn, teach, speak your mind. Sharpen your skills, share the knowledge and help us build a community where devs can openly exchange ideas!See more about DevStaff.
