Are you still using REST for your Web Services? Maybe even SOAP?
Join us online on our MeetUp, October 8th, to find out about gRPC and Protobufs. Maybe they’ll change your life!
gRPC is an open source RPC system initially developed at Google in 2015. It uses HTTP/2 for transport, Protocol Buffers as the interface description language, and provides features such as authentication, bidirectional streaming, and flow control, blocking or nonblocking bindings, and even more.In this talk we will go over what Protocol Buffers are, what is gRPC and how the two systems integrate together, and in the end we’ll see if REST stands a chance against it.. 😉
