Every so often we break away from our standard single-topic format and host a meetup where we have the chance to cover a wide variety of topics, ALL AT ONCE!You see, we all know some talks can get booooring… Or it’s a topic you know very little about and before you know it you can’t follow and you’re stuck in that chair for another 20 minutes before the next break…
Well, with lightning talks, if the talk turns out to be dull, or if the person giving the talk turns out to be a bad speaker, at least IT’S OVER IN 5 MINUTES!

You are all free to present your own topics: Just add a comment with the talk title in the Meetup event page.Why Give a Lightning Talk?
- You can start small: you don’t need to make slides, and if you do decide to make slides, you only need to make three.
- Maybe you don’t have much to say. You can just ask a question, or invite people to help you with your project, or boast about something you did, or tell a short cautionary story. These are all nice 5-min stories.
